Evan is a Wealth Advisor with Assante Capital Management Ltd.
As a financial professional, Evan recognizes that each client is unique. Taking the time to understand each client’s individual needs and objectives, Evan carefully tailors his advice and provides counsel according to each individual’s specific circumstances. His mission is to build meaningful, long-lasting client relationships and to craft innovative solutions that deliver the best possible value to clients and their families.
Evan’s practice is complemented by his legal expertise, as he began his career working alongside some of the most accomplished lawyers in Canada at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP in Toronto, Ontario.
Evan is a proud graduate of the Juris Doctor program at Osgoode Hall Law School, and received his Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, with distinction, from Wilfrid Laurier University. Evan has also achieved the internationally recognized designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and has completed his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation through the Canadian Securities Institute. Evan is licensed through the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (“IIROC”) and is registered to practice in the provinces of Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.

Rob is a Senior Financial Advisor with Assante Capital Management Ltd. For over twenty years he has been helping clients make smart choices with their money, putting them on the right track to achieve and maintain financial independence.
Rob has a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Western Ontario. He is licensed through the Canadian Securities Commission and through the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as a licensed Insurance Agent. Rob is registered to practice in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta and New Brunswick.
Rob is committed to his clients’ financial security and success. With support from his Assante team, he is able to provide a broad range of investment advice and services. Clients can expect a sophisticated approach to complex financial transactions as well as an objective perspective of the bigger picture. Furthermore, building long-term relationships with clients has been a philosophical cornerstone of Rob’s practice from the beginning. Troy Rumpel, CLU, RHU
Vice-President, Estate Planning
As a Regional Vice-President of Estate Planning, Troy Rumpel is well-positioned to deal with the technical aspects of our clients’ more complex situations. He works to mitigate risk, protect assets, and provide tax deferral strategies and solutions that allow a smooth transition of estate or business assets to the beneficiaries or surviving partners. He provides in-depth information on various insurance products and services that compliment the overall wealth management for our clients.
He has worked in a variety of roles, from financial advisor and planner to regional manager. Prior to joining Assante Estate and Insurance Services Inc. in September 2004, Troy held positions of responsibility with several leading Canadian insurers, most recently Director of Business Development for the Life Division of RBC Insurance.
He has earned Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designations and is a member of CALU, Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting.
Troy is based in Hamilton and services the province of Ontario.
